The Common Table

This 42×42-inch panel was a part of The Common Table’s inaugural exhibit at the 2014 Minnesota State Fair. The exhibit theme was Local Food Stories, and this panel showcased the nonprofit Central Minnesota Sustainability Project (CMSP) in St. Cloud, Minnesota. CMSP works primarily with immigrant and refugee populations to create a “safe place” through community gardening.

Uganda to St. Cloud Home in the Garden is an infographic illustrating Florence Orionzi’s story of immigrating from Uganda to the United States. While this is Florence’s story, she is one of many women who comprise the thriving community of the Maine Prairie Community Garden.
