For the first time in company history, the annual report was designed by its own in-house agency. Supported by excellent photography, the 2014 St. Jude Medical Annual Report shared the compelling story of Mary and her triumphant battle with heart failure. This creative opportunity allowed the company to break out of the legacy annual report template while saving money. Also, it increased a level of personal pride and excitement in sharing our unique knowledge of the lifesaving medical technologies and the benefit to one extraordinary patient.
