AntiGMO Project
Poster series
A series of nine posters were created as an educational campaign to grow the conversation about genetically modified food through informational graphics. Genetic Modification, Monoculture, Resistance, Contamination, Patents, Infiltration, Animals, Ingredients and Medical Study visually demonstrated the effects of genetically modified crops on the environment and people. The goal was to increase public interest by translating text-heavy information into easy to understand forms of visual communication. I wanted to find the delicate balance that sparked curiosity without providing a dictionary definition. By filtering the clutter from this complex issue, people gained the knowledge to make better food choices. In the end, it was about the public taking back their right to know.
